BalticNOG Progress Update

We’re thrilled to share major updates as we gear up for the first-ever BalticNOG event on September 24–25, 2025 in Vilnius, Lithuania. With momentum building and the community showing tremendous enthusiasm, here’s a look at everything happening behind the scenes—and what you can look forward to.

Sponsorship Milestones

We are proud to announce that BalticNOG is gaining real traction among speakers and the technical community, as well as among leading companies that power the internet globally and regionally. Our sponsorship program has received an enthusiastic response, and we’re delighted to share the latest milestones.

Main Organizer:

IPXO, as the primary organizer, is providing organizational support and leading the initiative to unite the Baltic technical community and beyond.

Silver Sponsors:

We warmly welcome DE-CIX and FlexOptix to the BalticNOG family. Their trust in our mission and contribution to the network operator community is invaluable.

Bronze Sponsors:

A big shoutout to Hostinger and Team Cymru for backing the initiative and joining us on this regional journey.

Badge Sponsor:

Special thanks to RETN for securing the exclusive badge sponsorship.

Supporters & Fellows:

We’re honored to have the support of RIPE NCC, Unicorns Lithuania, webhosting.today, and INFOBALT—a diverse and vibrant coalition of contributors that make BalticNOG possible.
To all our sponsors and supporters: a million thanks from the BalticNOG team. Your backing is what makes this event not just possible, but exceptional. And for those still considering getting involved, we’re actively welcoming additional sponsors who’d like to shape the region’s most exciting new NOG.

Speaker Lineup Gaining Traction

Our Call for Presentations has seen fantastic traction with around 30 speakers already in the pipeline, representing various disciplines and geographies. Some of the confirmed speakers include:
  • Marco Schmidt (RIPE NCC)
  • Dmitry Kohmanyuk (Hostmaster.ua)
  • Lefteris Manassakis (ThousandEyes, part of Cisco)
  • Donatas Abraitis (Hostinger, FRRouting, BalticNOG)
  • Paulius Judickas (IPXO, UKNOF, BalticNOG)
  • Vincentas Grinius (IPXO, BalticNOG)
These early confirmations already signal the diversity and expertise that attendees can expect, and more announcements are on the way. We send millions of thanks to our program committee for their hard work reviewing every speaker’s abstract!

Venue & Infrastructure: AC Marriott, Vilnius

This year’s event will be hosted at the newly opened AC Marriott Hotel in Vilnius. The venue provides the perfect setting for learning, networking, and collaboration with top-notch conference infrastructure, elegant rooms, and modern technology. It is located near the city’s heart and offers easy access for local and international participants.

Evening Social: Lukiškių Prison 2.0

BalticNOG is more than just a technical gathering—it’s also a cultural experience. The official evening party will take place at the historic Lukiškių Prison, a one-of-a-kind venue turned vibrant art and events space. Once a working prison from 1904 to 2019, today Lukiškių Prison 2.0 hosts concerts, exhibitions, and creative experiences in an atmospheric setting. Don’t miss the chance to mingle with fellow attendees in this iconic Vilnius nightlife and history landmark.
